AI Cost & Chargeback

The invoice says one number. Your logs say another.

You record the invoice with the provider, the month and the total from the real bill. AnnexIQ compares it with your metered usage for that month: within a small tolerance it is matched, and beyond that the gap is shown, over or under. The gap is never quietly corrected, and the screen says when a comparison is provisional, for example when some usage is unpriced or estimated. Rate Variance then compares what you assumed you would pay per model with what you actually paid over the last thirty days.
For CFOs, controllers and CIOs who want to know whether a provider's bill reconciles to their own usage, and by how much it does not, before it is paid.
Good to know: Invoices are entered by a person from the real bill, not pulled from the provider. The comparison shows the gap but does not explain it.
